Work Experience and Career Exploration Program
The Work Experience and Career Exploration Program (WECEP) is a one or two year school-to-work transition program designed for students ages 14 and 15 who are disengaged with the educational process.
The goal of the program is to provide intensive intervention strategies to encourage at-risk students to improve their academic class, develop a career plan that guides their transition from school-to-work, demonstrate a positive work ethic, and remain in school after the age of 16 by providing a work-related class and on-the-job experiences.
